Hello 2022

I was thinking of writing a good-bye to 2021, when I realized, what I needed to be doing was focusing on 2022.

As I do a lot of times when I’m searching, I rely on Google to toss out some wisdom or quote, or scripture that speaks to me, and it didn’t let me down. I found a great article from Woman’s Day online. It was filled with inspirational scripture that reminded me to leave yesterday there, be present in the moment, and know that God has made a way for the future. (I’ll include a link to the article. It’s worth a read.)

Anyhow, I am striving to go into 2022 to work on what God has planned for me and to follow the path He has made. I feel called to bring awareness to addiction, and to work on myself. (And let me tell you, I need a lot of work.) Some of the work is simple: Drink Water, Walk More — Some of the work is hard: Worry Less. Let Go. Let God. There’s more, but I won’t bore you with it all.

I don’t know exactly how I will accomplish these things, but I know that I will. I know that God is truly leading me here. I know that I will stumble, and I won’t get it right all the time. I also know that He is with me and the only way to fail is to not move forward. So, hello 2022. God says you and I have some work to do.
