TRUST ISSUES

I didn’t grow up “in church” so to speak, but I grew up believing in God. I attended church in my childhood and youth with my sweet Aunt and Uncle fairly regularly, but God was not a part of my daily life.

As I got older, I promised myself I’d do better when I had children and give them a foundation to find their way in faith. I failed at this, epically. Oh, we went to church from time-to-time, but still I didn’t incorporate God into our daily lives. I’ve found myself wondering often how different our path might have been if I had introduced Jesus to our family. I’m not going to beat myself up over it now, as easy as that would be, but what I am going to do is put my trust in God now that I know I should.
